Urgent dental care

Call us as soon as we open

Need an emergency dentist in Maple? If you have a toothache, a broken tooth or swelling, call 905-832-4886 as soon as we open. We see urgent cases during office hours, including Wednesday evenings until 8 pm and Saturday mornings from 8 am. Dr. Sophie, Dr. Nazli or Dr. Khadi will examine the tooth and take a digital X-ray to find the cause. The first goal is to get you out of pain. Sometimes we can fix the problem in the same visit. If it needs a longer appointment, such as a root canal or a crown, we book that before you leave.

Questions about emergency visits

Call 905-832-4886 as soon as we open and tell us what happened. We see urgent cases during office hours, including Wednesday evenings until 8 pm and Saturday mornings from 8 am.

Severe or throbbing tooth pain, swelling in your gum or face, a broken or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling or crown, or bleeding that won't stop are all dental emergencies. If bleeding keeps going after 10 minutes of firm pressure, or swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, go to the nearest hospital emergency room first.

Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root, and rinse it gently without scrubbing. Put it back in the socket and hold it there with clean gauze, or keep it in a cup of cold milk. Get to a dentist right away, because a tooth replaced within about 10 minutes has the best chance of staying.

Dial 811 to reach Health811, where a registered nurse can give you free advice 24 hours a day. Go to the emergency room if bleeding won't stop or swelling spreads toward your eye or neck. Then call us at 905-832-4886 when we open so we can see you.

We see urgent cases during office hours: Monday 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 12 pm to 8 pm, Thursday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 8 am to 3 pm. We're closed Fridays and Sundays.

Yes. We see kids for toothaches, chipped teeth and knocked-out teeth. Call and tell us your child's age and what happened.
