Maple Dental Centre accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), sends your insurance claim electronically right after your visit, and offers monthly payment plans for larger treatment. Our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association fee guide, and you’ll know the cost of your treatment before we begin.
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
We accept CDCP patients. You may qualify if your adjusted family net income is under $90,000, you don’t have access to private dental insurance (including a health spending account that covers dental), you’re a Canadian resident for tax purposes, and you’ve filed your tax return for the previous year. Those rules come from the Government of Canada.
Bring your CDCP member card to your first visit. Depending on your family income, some services may have a co-payment, and we’ll tell you what it is before we start.
Dental insurance
You pay for your visit on the day, and we send the claim to your insurance company electronically as soon as your appointment ends. Your insurer then pays you back directly, usually within a few business days. Keeping it this way means no estimated balances or surprise bills weeks later. If you’re planning larger treatment such as Invisalign or a crown, we can send a pre-treatment estimate first so you know what your plan covers.
Payment plans
For Invisalign and other larger treatment, you can spread the cost over monthly payments instead of paying it all at once. We’ll go over the options at your consultation. We take credit, debit and tap.
What common treatments cost in Ontario
Every mouth is different, so your exact price comes from an exam. These are the typical ranges you’ll see across Ontario:
- Cleanings and check-ups: set by the ODA fee guide and based on how long your cleaning takes. Most insurance plans and CDCP cover routine cleanings.
- Invisalign: about $2,000 for small fixes to a few teeth, up to around $8,000 for full treatment that changes your bite.
- Dental implants: usually $3,000 to $6,500 per tooth for the implant, abutment and crown together. Bone grafting, when needed, is quoted separately.

Do you accept CDCP?
Yes. Bring your member card to your first visit and we’ll look after the claim with Sun Life, including any co-payment that applies to you.
Will I know the cost before treatment starts?
Yes. We go over the cost with you after your exam, and for larger treatment we can check with your insurer first.
Can I pay for Invisalign monthly?
Yes. You can spread Invisalign over monthly payments. Ask us about the options at your consultation.
